I have separated treatment into two categories: holistic and traditional but let’s be honest, there is a lot of cross over so please forgive me if you feel a treatment belongs in the other category!
Treatment options tend to get people on their soap boxes often pushing what has worked for them, me included, mainly because they are excited they found something that works for them! My goal both here and in life is to be a resource or provider of options, information, personal experiences and resources but from there it is up to the person to determine if it’s right for them to try. To flip it, I get a lot of recommendations from others to do yoga. I am all for yoga, I’ve tried a yoga many times but I have found it is not a good fit for my body and all of my issues. But in the end, majority of the people suggesting, sharing or recommending is just trying to help and I will always appreciate someone taking the time to do so.
While I am for sharing different options, the key word is sharing. Share your experiences, but please be mindful of what has worked for you may not work for someone else. Also, you may take issue with what people choose to do. As I mentioned in my ‘About Me’ page, treatment is a personal decision.
Since I am one to provide as much information and resources as I possible, most of the treatment option pages are still ‘under construction’. As soon as I have it all completed I will send out an email to those who sign up for my newsletter (shameless plug time!)
